The History of Corporate Fleet Services

Corporate Fleet Services has been serving customers since 1963 as a pioneer in the modern business of fleet management and leasing services. Not only do we help business owners and managers in conserving cash, we help save time with our full-service offerings that also reduce the potential headaches and hassle otherwise associated with a vehicle lease or purchase. In addition to helping our clients secure cars, trucks, shuttle buses and specialty equipment we handle all aspects of the lease or purchase deal and beyond, whether you have one vehicle or hundreds.

CFS was incorporated in 1963 under the name Bill Snethkamp Leasing, Inc., a subsidiary of Bill Snethkamp Chrysler Plymouth, Inc. which continues today selling Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles and is one of the oldest auto dealers in the world. We were a founding member of the Chrysler leasing system and won numerous volume and customer service awards. The company enjoyed steady growth and fulfilled its mission of serving the Detroit business community. In the 80’s the company expanded into the national market place serving a diverse clientele and has developed the capability to provide the full range of fleet services acting as your dedicated fleet manager, in 1989 we changed our name to Corporate Fleet Services, Inc. to more accurately describe our purpose. Corporate Fleet Services assigns a fleet professional as your single contact who will direct all of your companies servicing requirements. This servicing method eliminates the key frustrations that we see with clients who have come to us from other providers, untrained CSR’s, 800 calls to nowhere and a sales rep who disappears as soon as the ink dries.

CFS further differentiates itself by providing fleet services for “no fees”. We believe that the correct relationship between client and service provider is for a spirit of cooperation to develop. The client shouldn’t withhold service requests to stay within budget. We provide a full array of services which are incorporated into a competitive rate. This allows our client to reliably forecast a fleet budget for the year without the shock of a 20% increase due to service fees.
